Mark has worked at Manguzi Hospital since 2002. Firstly as a medical doctor , then chief medical officer, and now as medical manager since 2016. There was a gap in service in 2008 , when he left after a disagreement with the province following his roll out of dual therapy for PMTCT in 2007, the era of official AIDS denial. During these times of crisis “I have given my heart and soul” to this hospital - working “far beyond my designated duties”.
